Building Access:

The SDNLab is located in a secured wing of the IUPUI ICTC building and there is a receptionist desk on the first floor.  Please sign in with the receptionist.   Each person will receive a visitors badge.  If you are visiting for an extended period of time, you will also receive an electronic access card which can be used to access all the necessary portions of the building.  You will need to bring this with you each day in order to access the lab and will need to return the badge at the end of your visit.

Transportation from the Airport:

Public transportation options from the the Indinapolis Airport to hotels and other locations in the downtown area:

  • The taxi line at the Indianapolis Airport is located immediately outside and to the left of the arrival area. Approximate cost is $35 to downtown.
  • IndyGo's Route 8 provides non-express, fixed-route service from the airport to downtown via stops along Washington Street. Cost is $1.75 per ride.

Parking:

Parking is limited on the IUPUI campus.  As there are many hotels within walking distance of  InCNTRE and the SDN Lab,  we encourage everyone to walk to and from the lab if possible. Visitors can park in the “Gateway Garage” on the North side of Michigan St. across the street from  the ICTC building. It is fully automated; visitors can pay at the station with cash or credit. There are a limited number of meter spots in the lot to the West of the ICTC building. A limited number of campus parking permits are available for those with disabilities who need to park near the building longer than the meters allow.

Wireless Access:

IU provides AT&T wireless service to visitors free of charge on the IUPUI campus. Select the "attwifi" SSID. You may need to start your web browser to finish authenticating to AT&T; for complete directions for several different devices, see AT&T's Wireless Support.

Building Access:

InCNTRE is located in a secured wing of the Cyberinfrastructure Building. Visitors must go to the front desk to sign in and call for an escort.  Each person will receive a visitors badge.  If you are visiting for an extended period of time, you will also receive an electronic access card which can be used to access all the necessary portions of the building.  You will need to bring this with you each day in order to access the lab and will need to return the badge at the end of your visit.

 

Transportation from the Airport:

Shuttle services to and from the airport are available via Bloomington Shuttle.  Services inlcude shuttle service, limo/sedan, Uber cab, or a private car.

 

Parking:

InCNTRE is located in Cyberinfrastructure Building, located in the IU Technology Park East complex.  Parking passes are required in the Technology Park lots and visitior passes will be provided.  Passes can be obtained at the front desk of the Cyberinfurasturcture building.
