Leveraging and Abstracting Measurements with perfSONAR

LAMP will create an instrumentation and measurement system based on perfSONAR—an infrastructure for network performance monitoring that makes it easier to solve end-to-end performance problems on paths crossing several networks.

Led by InCNTRE's Martin Swany, the project will develop a common GENI instrumentation and measurement architecture with an emphasis on providing a common but extensible format for data storage and exchange. It will also work to develop a representation of GENI topology for use describing measurements and experiment configuration.
